  1. Howdy buddy! Just subscribed to your channel, cuz I enjoyed it a great deal) Hit upon it while surfing the net) I'm into burbouns too. Buffalo is still awaitin' in my "bottle barn")))-ain't tried it out yet. Currently my favorite is Wild Turkey 101 (I'm a newbie to the world of bourbons). Just 2 questions: as to Turkey Rare Breed (56 abv), is it very hard drinkin' stuff as compared to "101' (51ABV)? The 2-nd question concerns 'Fighting Cock":Is ia load of shit or is it worth tryin' an' buyin'? Thanks in advance and best regards from Russia (Moscow) (here we fancy bourbons too))))

  2. I'm mostly a Scotch and rye guy, but do have the occasional bottle of bourbon in my cabinet. At the moment I have a bottle of Larceny. Elijah Craig has also frequented my cabinet from time to time. I haven't tried Buffalo Trace. I might have to give it a try.
I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure apples are not in the citrus fruit family. 🙂

  3. I’ve never tried bourbon before, but I am into cigars. Would BT be a good choice for a beginner to pair with a cigar? I like smooth tastes. I’m not into harsh or leathery type of flavors.

  4. Enjoyed your drama free review! My taste varies between Geo. Dickel and Makers Mark. My current favorite is EC small batch🥃👍 Oh, and I've been sippin' whisky for over 50 years🤙🏻

  5. This bourbon whiskey review was great! Do more of these please! I've just begun my whiskey journey this year and I'm 65! Cheers!

  6. Buffalo Trace is the only Bourbon, that I've had- so far… I'm a MASSIVE fan- love it. My first bottle kill. Only started drinking whisky, this year.

  7. Hey Scott,
I’m curious where you found the exact Mash Bill for BT. It my findings they hadn’t released anything it was mash bill #1 or mash Bill #2. Would you mind disclosing your sources?

  8. This made me smile. I like both BT ECSB but have not tried them in a taste test. I was planning to this friday when I just happened in your post! Must be a sign from the whisky gods….never ignore the signs is my mantra😁

  9. Buffalo Trace is Supreme, sweeter, tastier, green apple, cherry, warmth, body, substance
Elijah Craig, I find much less interesting, bitter, displeasing after taste, flat, underwhelming.
I can see this guy has a half bottle of EC on the table, a half bottle on the upper left shelf, a full bottle on top right shelf, and another EJ bottle on the lower shelf. So you mean to tell me he hasn't tasted the EC before?

  10. Why not love both???? I always get a dominate cherry nose and taste to the Elijah Craig. I'm surprised you didn't mention it.

  11. Buffalo Trace is a fantastic beginners whiskey. It's a little more sterile and balanced than other reasonably priced bourbons like ECSB, 1798, or Knob Creek not as complex but very well balanced. IMO.

  12. These two börkons * börp * mäke a euråpeän envious. I'll buy båth to flush down meatbålls with in the near future
