  1. never played digimon world 1, lived and died by digimon world dawn as a kid. this video made me realized that a lot of the menu SFX from the ds titles are ripped directly from digimon world! that's a really cool easter egg… though i do kinda wish they'd just gone with higher-quality sounds, the crunched up ps1 sounds are a bit noticable on ds

  2. Loved Rumble Arena and Digimon world 1. But would definitely say World 3 is my favorite. Hard to see what they did with 4 after 3

  3. i starter play digimon at digimon world 1 in ps1, an then rumble arena > digimon world 2 > digimon world 3 > digimon world 4 (ps2) > digimon rumble arena 2 (ps2) > digimon redigitize in psp (i play in my android) > digimon link (android) and now i wait for digimon re arise (android)

  4. The music in these games were outstanding. Personal favourites were Digimon World 1&2, Digimon Card Battle (Which isn’t on here) and Rumble Arena 2!

  5. Obvious signs of game developers trying radically different game styles to find the one that will be the big hit for this franchise. I don’t want to play a racing game with Greymon in a go-cart, and I don’t want to play as Agumon running around beating things with a sword.
DW2 was the best, it’s just a shame the graphics were so terrible and highest tier monsters near impossible to obtain. If any game deserves a remake, it’s that one. (DW3 sucked).

  6. look how awesome cyber sleuth battle is …. compared to pokemon.. pokemon got so much love but the fans didnt realize how lazy they make the game

  7. I really hope they will ever make a game like digimon world dusk/dawn again. In gameplay and appearance alike. For newer and better consoles/devices of course.

  8. I'm a Pokémon fan but I was curious to see what Digimon games looked like and honestly, the old turn-based ones seem kind of slow? The animations seem a bit too long (I know some RPGs are like that but since people tend to compare the two, I'd say Pokémon turn-based battles seem smoother). For the little I've seen, I think live battles without turns fit Digimon style better. Is it just because I'm used to Pokémon style battles, or does any Digimon fan agree? I'm curious.
