  1. That why I moved from the G9 to EM1 mark II. The pro zoom constant f2.8, better autofocus, no red color cast when raising the shadow. To shot sports events indoor you really need the Olympus 40-150mm f2.8. The Leica 200mm f2.8 is another option but so expensive (lacking zoom)… Vlog, 4K DCI, RAW image focus stacking are nice to have from Olympus. 4K 60 fps, full HD 180fps, 6K photo mode (JPEG only), better EVF are nice on the G9. But overall, Olympus got better lens. That one stop difference to shot at f2.8 compare to f4.0 is crucial to freeze action at 1/125 or 1/250 indoor for a lower ISO. I asked myself, why having a Panasonic body if all the lens I like are from Olympus… On Nov 21th, 2019, the OM-D EM5 mark III will be the ultimate Vlog camera. (Much smaller and lighter than the G9 overall). I did really enjoy the G9 and Panasonic menu! All the best with your G9!

  2. Yeah. The 12-60 is basically an f/4 zoom. That makes it difficult for low light. I wonder how big and expensive it would have been to make it a constant 2.8. That would have been killer. I’m deciding between the 12-60, 12-35 or maybe the Oly 12-40. Or maybe just one of the fast wide primes, as I have the PL 25mm. Hate to say it buy man, what is up with the pop/R&B? You have great taste in gear but not in music, lol.
