  1. this tutorial is obviously for experienced users, I haven't got a clue what you're talking about most of the time….oh well, off to find someone that speaks my language as a new user

  2. Not silly questions at all! You can still save projects as normal. You do not have to use the cloud, since its onset I have yet to even use it! It works without internet access, from time to time Adobe checks up on the license, so if you are offline it still runs smoothly.

  3. Hello there!
One huge difference, Photoshop CC is $20 a month and 3 years newer than CS5. There are a lot of added features to Camera Raw that make it superior to CS 5, but not that much better than CS 6.

If I were a college student I would probably consider using CS 6 before hitting CC. That $20 per month could hit the pocket pretty hard. The jump from CS 6 to CC was not that significant. However, from CS5 to CS 6 you are missing out on a lot of great features in Camera Raw.

  4. 🙂 Hello, Mr. Blake, My name is Kim from the Philippines, I would like to ask what is the difference between Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe CS5,? I'm a college student, and Graphic designing is my hobby,. so what better use,? 🙂 Thank you

  5. Photoshop CC is the new Photoshop hosted on the Creative Cloud. Unfortunately the payment system has changed. It is $19.99 a month, but if you own CS 6 it is $9.99 a month for the first year.

  6. Blake, I just got a Julieanne Kost (photoshop evangelist) tweet about an enhancement to Merge to HDR. When you are set to 32-bit you can get the raw layer you mentioned in the video:

  7. I enjoy Photoshop, I do not get paid by Adobe to do these tutorials. I do them because a lot of people get a lot of value out of them. Enough is enough with the money thing, at some point you just have to get over the ever evolving trends in marketing and just go with it if the product is REALLY worth it.

  8. with all respect, instead of advertising photoshop ( we all know its powerful software) why dont you make a video about there new blood sucking "monopolizing" enforcing, Dictartorised marketing ??? unless you are paid by photoshop to do this advertisment
